Gonna be outta town for at least a week

My husband is having heart surgery next week, and we will be in Miami for the surgery. Its through the VA hospital, so we won't be able to have here in town, we have to travel. Its prolly gonna be on wed, then he needs two or three days of rest before coming back home. I'll be on here and there, but my attention will be on hubby. We need to get his back into shape. So I'll let everyone know how things are doing once the surgery is done. So I'll talk to you all soon. Have a great week everyone.

Thanks Lumi! . I'll try and check in whenever I can. I should be able to at least check in before I head to bed at night. and while my hubby is getting tests. I'll let you all know how it goes. I'll just be happy when hubby is home with me, safely.

well, we're here! The first round of visiting hours is over for the day. Hubby had a boat load of tests. Surgery is at 7am on wed. Talk about a long drive to get here, five long hours,but the room I'm in is beautiful, its sort of the same premise as the Ronald McDonald house. I have a beautiful bed to sleep in and a gorgeous room, but I'd still rather be with hubby..sniff, at least he's just across the street and I can call him whenever I want. Its been a long day girls, I'm bushed. I'll see if I can get any time on tomorrow. . Visiting hours don't start right away, so I may be able to sneak in a post or two in the mean time. Hugs, and please harass some Ejamis while I'm away, the no good louts!

Oh so the surgery is tomorrow? I'm sure it will go well, but keep us posted. And do you have this nice room all to yourself? I'm sure you miss your husband but it's probably nice to have a nice room to relax in all to yourself too. Hugs sis! We miss you a lot.

yes, its a wonderful room and love having it to myself. I snuck over and had lunch with hubby before visiting hours even started. Tonight we well be watching movies together in the hospital room.

I will be glad when the surgery is done and he is okay.
