Positive Posting?

I have noticed a bit of a negative attitude around the board lately. Now, I know we are all depressed and sad about Bryan, Lucas and Lumi. I have watched the Jack and Jenn Fans and was thinking, maybe we need to do a save Bryan Lucas and Lumi campaign.
I think it would be a good idea to help encourage ourselves. We could even do a blog on it.
We could post our fav vids and clips and reasons why we personally like Bryan, Lucas and Lumi.
On my board, Lumi wrote something about what it means to be a die hard fan. I think it would be a great idea if we include this in our blog. I know it isn't easy holding on, and Safe is the only thing on our screen right now. But that doesn't mean imho, Lucas and Lumi are never going to come back. At least, that is the way I personally feel. This is the soap world, and with the way Days is right now, no couple is certain.

All I am trying to say, is let's try and keep our tones as positive as possible. If we have to vent about Safe, then it needs to be kept in the rant rooms. Or in the spoilers section.

And I know we all know this already, but a friendly reminder that there is ever no actor bashing allowed on site.
I'm kinda hoping one day Bryan or Alison will read it and I wouldn't want them to see any of that. I have tweeted the link to Ali, and I know she is aware of this site bc of our cakes.

I am NOT blaming anyone, nor trying to make any one feel bad, NOR am I singling any one person out. The negativity is all over the boards right now, bc the writing sucks so bad. So there you have it folks, I blame the writers and Tomlin for this madness. Let's try hard and not let their madness spew into here, okay!
Anybody else have anything positive or helpful to add? This is up for discussion, so let's discuss. But lets keep it reasonable, I think we cool and amazing Lumi fans can do that!

Maybe also we could prune some of the forums that have few or no posts, making the site easier to navigate. Its just a suggestion to help with positive posting and make things easier on the site.

I like your ideas about cleaning up the board! We should try it. We're also open to suggestions so please regular posters, post your ideas! We need suggestions on what kind of threads we we should have & even the colors of the board. We didn't get too much feedback about that.

I flove the board colors with the exception of the light text. It makes it hard to see the writing, especially when you come to the front of the board. Its hard to see what the posts say, especially whats the topic is about. So maybe, if we could fix that, it would make the text easier to see.
Also, I was thinking, now that St Patty's Day is over, maybe we could make a new banner and board pic. I was thinking of one with just Lucas and Lumi and maybe one with all the couples we love. Lumi, Bope, Broe, Ejole,,Jarlena Jack and Jenn, Magic and State. I was thinking it could say something like Save Our Super Couples on it. Yes, I do consider Ejole a super couple, but in a different league as some of the others. Like super evil power couple that is big lol Oh and of course we need to include Will and Allie in there and what about Chad Dimera, I'm actually starting to like him...what does everyone think?

I know I tried to fix the text. You could try fixing it. I will probably tweak the board colors a bit over time & I'm trying to make a new board pic but the computer I do my artwork on is not working right. We do need to think of some exciting new threads to start too. I was thinking of doing a LUMI history thread. We can do a timeline of all the important events in LUMI history with dates, like the day they first met for example. We need all of your imput thought so please stop by and tell us what you want to see here.

Alright, I have played with the text some. Please tell me if you like it. You can always change anything you want. It's easier to read, but I dunno if the colors go together or not.

tell me if you like my changes tink. I added a soft rainbow to go with our green and played with the text. I was hoping that it would be inviting and the text would be easily seen.
I think a lot of people are slowing down posting bc of the impending spring breaks and summer holidays coming up. I was thinking rainbows are both spring and summer and would suffice both seasons. Please tell me how you like it or not lol. Maybe a touch more glitter. I didn't ass any., I didn't want to overdue it.

I also added a new, very hot pic of Bryan with water all over him. I added the new colors to the pic. I figured, what could be more inviting then a very sexy, wet pic of Bryan, unless it was a shirtless pic of course, lol!

I do like them! I may make a few myself if I have time. Unfortunately I won't have too much time lately.
