The ratings have been declining ever since Lucas left and since there has started to be so many Ejami scenes. You think there's any correlation? I'm sure they're not all to blame, but it can't be just a coincidence either. Come on Days wake up!

the ratings have also dropped since Rafe came on board. and the Hernandezes haven't helped matters any. not to mention, Carly hasn't brought any rave reviews. I don't blame ejami because there really hasn't been any except for a couple of "almost" events. and those have been very recent.

I blame Lucas leaving, Rafe staying, the Hernandez nobodies and the Carly/Bo thing.

I know I'm biased because I hate em, and I'm not afraid to say it. But it doesn't seem like just coincidence that the ratings started going down when Lucas left & EJ and Sami started getting all those scenes together. Even last year, when we got a lot of Safe scenes, Days was more popular. I think a lot of the general audience don't really like the idea of EJ & Sami together. IMO, they are just boring, and all wrong together and I haven't been watching like I used to since Bryan left and it started looking like we are going to get ejami. I've been tuning into AMC & GH, just on principle, and low and behold, both AMC & GH are getting more viewers than Days. Days has lost 200,000 viewers and GH has gained 200,000, I think there's something there. I think it is really a combination of a lot of things like Bryan, & other vets leaving, the tearing apart of Bope, all the Melanie/Daniel/Chloe/Phillip mess, and EJ & Sami getting so much screen time, that's making the ratings go down. And of course the horrible writing, and the rewriting of beloved characters.

many Lumi's went to watch GH. Guess us two hundred thousand are a lot bigger then the supposed five thousand, aren't we?

I think the ratings declined is mostly due to this horridly boring storlyine about Chloe, Daniel and the rest of the gang. I don't think Sami and EJ have been on all that much to warrant the decline. Actually, Vivian and Carly were brought back to get the ratings up, but I don't think that the writers have used them to their fullest potential, especially Vivian. I also say, blame the writers! Bryan was smart to leave. Had Lucas been around, I'm sure the writers would not have done his character justice, and he would not have brought up the ratings either.

have there been any new ratings yet? I want to see if there is any difference. I am fast becoming an Ej and Ari fan. I think he is so different around her. I used to flove Ejole, then hated how stupid he became about the fake belly. Ari is just so cute, and he does things for her bc he wants to and not to manipulate. I am pleasantly surprised by this side of EJ. I hope the writers decide to keep it!

There apparently is a good side to EJ, but I always wonder what he is really up to. What hidden agenda is there???? EJ and Ari look like they are becoming good friends at this point. I would still like to see her with Lucas though.

Since I'm not watching I don't know anything about Ari. I'm all for anyone who gets EJ away from Sami so I fully support this pairing even if I don't know anything about it, lol! Now if we could just get rid of Rafe, have Sami be all alone and miserable. Then bring Lucas back with a brand new love interest who is crazy about him. And have Sami eat her heart out.

we need to say something about the 200,000 fans in a banner. Bc I know that the majority of the Lumi and Lucas fans went to Gh. That is a huge number, way bigger then the now known 40 ejamis fans. They had an event and people are saying that about 40 people were there, after that Ken Coradays article came out about Rafe and Sami getting together and that Ejami was over.
They only raised about 1600.00 for cancer research when according to their inflated numbers, it should have been way more. I am getting these from a friend who knows the info and she is very reliable.
I think Ken found out the true numbers when he asked the stars about the event. I am glad of this bc now he won't cater so much to them any more. Its very sad when a fan base has to inflate their numbers so much. At least he knows now how many fans that the fan base actually has. The Lucas and Lumi fan base is huge. I've always known that. Now we need to jump on the band wagon and get Bryan back on Days. Maybe then the show would be worth watching again.
