At the hospital Vivian confronts Carly with ruining Chloe's life but through the argument she realizes her plan didn't work. Chloe knows the truth about the surgery and doesn't think he is having an affair with Daniel.
At the hospital after Chloe blurts out that she is so sorry for what she did, Philip gives her a significant look and puts his arm around Melanie to signify that he didn't tell her what happened. So Chloe covers by saying that she and Philip are old friends and she confided in him about the fight she had with Daniel. Daniel tells Chloe that he is not mad that she went to Philip but that next time she needs to talk she should come to him.
Philip says that Melanie should have some alone time with Daniel and asks Chloe to go to Java with him. At Java they discuss what happened between them. Both say it was a mistake and they should never tell anyone about it. Chloe wonders how they both got everything so wrong, and tells Philip she thinks someone set her up to suspect an affair. She vows to find out who.
At the Cheatin Heart, Stephanie and Nathan are on a date. He tells her that Melanie was finally honest with him about what was in the letter and also that she made it clear that she has moved on. Nathan tells Stephanie that he realizes that his is ready to move on too.
When Nathan gets called to the hospital, Stephanie talks to Adrienne about Nathan. She says that she knows Nathan doesn't love her the way she loves him but she thinks he is starting to now that the Melanie situation is over. Adrienne tells Stephanie never let Nathan go like she did with Justin.
Back at Java, Chloe and Philip's conversation is interupted by Carly. Philip excuses himself and heads back to the hospital while Carly talks to Chloe. Carly thinks Chloe is upset about something but Chloe tells her she is just still worried about Daniel. On the way out of Java Chloe calls Philip and says again that no one can ever find out they slept with each other. Unfortunately Nathan overhears the conversation.
At the K-Mansion, Vivian is furious that her plan backfired and wonders how to deflect suspicion off of her. She contemplates having the nurse and hotel clerk murdered but thinks this would make Chloe more suspicious.

Rafe is summoned to the D-Mansion by Stephano. Stephano asks Rafe if he would get in the way of Sami living at the mansion. Rafe instead of answering, turns the questions onto Stephano by asking why EJ would even want his kids or Sami living there. Stephano says that in the end they are family, but Rafe doesn't buy it and thinks Stephano has something on EJ.
Sami yells for help when EJ passes out and stops breathing. Sami does CPR and begs EJ not to die. When he wakes up again, he and Sami are so close that he kisses her. Their kiss is interupted by the paramedics and they head to the hospital.
At the hospital Lexie sees EJ being brought in and calls Stephano to get to the hospital now. Meanwhile, Sami is with EJ and when EJ wakes up she realizes that he doesn't remember the kiss.
Back at the D-Mansion, Rafe is there when Stephano gets the call from Lexie. He decides to head to the hospital himself. When he arrives, he sneaks into EJ's room and overhears Sami tell EJ that she didn't know what she would have done if he had died and when EJ says he's not going anywhere, Sami says that is the best news she has heard all week.
Meanwhile in the hall of the hospital, Stephano tells Lexie that he's so angry at the Brady P.D.'s incompetence and who ever is attacking all these people will regret the day they crossed the Dimera's.
Meanwhile Dr. Baker has contacted a friend to help him figure out what EJ's pin number for his bank card is. He promises his friend that EJ will never find out it is them that is stealing from him. When Dr. Baker gets the pin number, he places a call to get the funds transfered.

Next Day Previews
Kate says to Will, "I don't have a problem with Chad Woods, but I do have a problem with his parents."
Mrs. Woods says to someone off screen, "The Dimera's can ruin everything."
Arrianna says to EJ, "When you find out why I'm here, you're probably going to get out of that bed and throw me out."

ok, that last one sounds interesting. Why is Arianna saying Ej would throw her out? Hmm, gonna go look at previews.

Nicole and Arrianna are having a meeting when they both receive texts about EJ being attacked. Nicole thinks it would be great if she could interview him, and tells Arrianna it's her job to make sure EJ will agree to see her.
Hope and Roman talk about the case, Hope mentions she will be interviewing EJ later in the day. When Hope asks how Kimberly is doing, Roman is sad that Bo has not contacted Hope. Hope is sad about this too.
When Chad's mom finds out he is on his way to the D-Mansion for a study group with Will and other friends, she tells him he can't go. Chad remembers the way his mom looked at Kate the other day and asks her if she has a problem with the Dimera business or with Kate. She tells Chad that because she is a judge and his dad the D.A., if anyone found out that he was hanging out at the D-Mansion it would be bad for their careers. However, after Chad leaves, Mrs. Woods says to herself that the Dimera's could ruin everything, even all these years later.
Meanwhile back at the D-Mansion, when Kate finds out from Will that Chad is part of the study group, Kate tells Will that she has a problem with Chad's parents. Kate tells Will that people like Chad's parents make a living going after powerful people like her and Stephano and Will needs to remember who his family is.

Julie visit's Hope at the police station and Hope confides in her about her problems with Ciara. Julie tries to explain to Hope about how Ciara may be feeling and tries to give her some advice about what to do. Julie is also concerned about Hope taking sleeping pills. She warns Hope about the dangers of becoming dependent upon the pills but Hope assures her that she is not.
While at the Cheatin Heart, Baker wonders if who that dark haired beauty from the night before is and if he will see her again. Later, someone he owes money to confronts him and Baker tells him that he will have his money soon. However, soon is not good enough and when he is threatened, he hands over $500.00.
While Arrianna tries to convince EJ to give Nicole an interview, Nicole is confronted by Lexie. Arrianna manages to convince EJ to do the interview, but she warns Nicole that any attempts at berating EJ will never make it to air.
Mrs. Woods pays Kate a visit. She tells Kate that she doesn't want anyone in her family to be a part of anyone in their family's lives so she better tell Will to stay away from Chad. Even if Kate has to say Chad is a bad influence, it doesn't matter, just keep him away or else.
Meanwhile the study group has been moved to Java. Mia is working and happy to see Chad. She asks him if he'd like to hang out together later, but Chad says no. When Will says to Chad that he thought he and Mia were seeing each other, Chad says no, he broke it off with Mia when he found out about her and Will. Mia meanwhile says to herself that Chad is still in love with her and she has a plan to get him back.
On the way to interview EJ, Hope runs into Baker. Baker is surprised and happy to see Hope, but Hope doesn't recognize Baker and is confused that he seems to know her.
Nicole asks EJ if he remembers anything about the attack. Although earlier in the day EJ led Lexie to believe he couldn't remember anything, EJ now tells Nicole that he knows it was a two person job and he recognized the man. He tells Nicole that the man is an associate of hers.
