Digest has obtained the list of actors who have been asked to return for Alice’s sendoff: Jaime Lyn Bauer (Laura Horton), Christie Clark (Carrie Brady), Roark Critchlow (Mike Horton), Maree Cheatham (Marie Horton), Bryan R. Dattilo (Lucas Horton), Mary Beth Evans (Kayla Johnson), Patsy Pease (Kimberly Brady), Melissa Reeves (Jennifer) and Lisa Trusel (Melissa Anderson) are all reportedly returning to Salem. "Most of them aren't coming back for just one day," says an insider. "Some will appear in a few episodes." Frances Reid (ex-Alice) passed away on February 3 and Digest reported exclusively that the show had big plans to bring a slew of stars back to say good-bye. TVGuidemagazine.com reported earlier that Charles Shaughnessy (Shane) is also reprising the role of superspy Shane Donovan.

This is wonderful news! Even if it is for a sad occasion, I'm so happy that Bryan is going to be back on our screen even if it is for a short time. And some of my other favorites too like Jennifer, Kayla, Mike and Shane! I wonder when this is set to air?

I wish that Jack would return with Jennifer. Yay, Bryan will be back for a bit. I knew he most likely would be, as he is a Horton after all.

I know, what is up with Jack not returning with Jennifer. I assume or hope that they are still in talks with others. They really need to bring back Jack, Jenn, Abby & Jack Jr. They also need Shawn D. & Belle and why not try to bring back Bill Horton her son? I think they will try to bring back who they can. And those they can't their family members will make some kind of excuse about why they are not there, like they're sick, or they had to stay home and babysit, lol.

I'm sure the list will be expanding, and I bet most people would attend because it's Frances Reid. Interesting that Marlena is not included; not sure Deidre would return the way she was treated.

I'm so excited that our man is going to be there! you know he will be with Sami! I bet the ratings sore!

also, how cool is it that Shane Donovan is returning??! I just LOVE him! and I just read that he is slotted to do like 22 eppisodes! SQUEAL!!! I'm so excited!

I wasn't watching when he was on, but I hear that he is quite the fan favorite.

I'm so happy a lot of older fan favorites are returning, though sadly not all of them. I would love for John and Marlena to return. I am so excited that Jennifer and Kayla will be returning just too bad that Jack and Steve won't return with them. Of course I'm super excited that Bryan will be returning even though it is for a short time. What I hope most of all is that the newer characters that we have to put up with like EJ, Rafe, Ari, Mia, Chad and Melanie won't be anywhere around for the funeral. Even though I like Melanie, she never knew Alice, they never worked together, so she shouldn't be there even if the show does practically center around her now. Sami should be there to be there for Will, Lucas and Ali. But I hope she leaves Rafe at home watching Sydney or something, and please don't let EJ be there.

I'm with you Tinkerbell. She cab pay attention to the needs of her Horton kids for once and leave those other dudes at home. BTW its been awhile but will stop by more often.

Hi! Nice to see you here. I hope you can stop by more often. I am so excited to see Lucas back on my screen. I hope it's for more than a couple of days. I hope maybe Days will rethink letting him go and realize they need him. I cannot stand to watch Sami, Rafe and EJ.

It will give Bryan a chance to shine. Hopefully TPTB will see how much more worthy he is than GG.

from your mouth to TPTB ears, Maggie! anybody with any sense at all can see he is so much better than Rafe! Lucas has style! Rafe is like a bump on a log.
